Charlotte is such a lovely community with such a hometown feel. People can enjoy the many activities, restaurants, and unique shops this small town has to offer. There are a lot of family-friendly things to do here. Some of the many activities include parks, nature trails, the aquatic center, public library, and the Charlotte Performing Arts Center (CPAC). The Alive Center has so much to offer for everyone. Grow is an area for the children to explore and play. Adults can work out on equipment, take a class, get a massage, and much more.

Charlotte is also home to the Eaton County fairgrounds which hosts the fair, 4-H, Frontier Days, and the Bluegrass Festival just to name a few. Frontier Days is one of my family's favorite festivals. They are open from Thursday to Sunday with many tents set up around the old courthouse, and you can walk around and shop. The Frontier Days parade is always fun, not to mention the rodeo, motocross, and tractor pulls. My family also enjoys shopping downtown on Small Business Saturday and going to Dairy Queen when we are done.
