Each year this small town of just over 2,000 people hosts their annual Chicken Broil where they sell over 12,000 chicken meals! Around mid-July, hundreds of volunteers line-up to charbroil these delicious chicken meals each of which includes chips, radishes, a roll with butter, a drink, and of course their famous homemade coleslaw. While you're there you can sit and watch the meals being made or stroll around the car show. Either way it is a fun event to attend and has been going on for over 60 years!
