There is a small village called Leonidas in Leonidas Township within St Joseph County. The township is not that large, it covers around 36 square miles. The village has a great BBQ restaurant and two parks. Rawson's King Mill Park is a popular seven acre park that sits on Nottawa Creek that has a restored 1870's grist mill and waterfall. The other park is a 36 acre park called Margaret Feek County Park. The land for the park was donated to the village by Margaret Feek around 2002. There is a campground off Covey Road that has cottages and campsite. The family friendly campground is a draw to the area.
