    In Southern St Joseph County near the Indiana border is a small village called White Pigeon that sits in White Pigeon Township. This small village is made up of less than two square miles and the township has less than 28 square miles. The township has one of the largest lakes in the county called Klinger Lake. The lake covers around 830 acres and sits in both White Pigeon and Sturgis. This area is a great vacation spot with lots of lakes: Aldrich Lake 196 acres, Fish Lake, White Pigeon 139 acres, Stag Lake 68 acres, Marl Lakes 44 acres and Grass Lake 30 acres.
