  • Those who wanted to be scared this Halloween season, didn't miss the Witches of New Salem in Dorr. It's about 30-40 minutes south of Grand Rapids and boy is it fun if you like haunted places! They have a haunted corn maze (be prepared to get very lost), a wicked forest (a must see), a zombie attack, and more. The prices are really reasonable too. Dress warm and enjoy this great fall and Halloween time.
  • I've stopped in here a couple times now. They have a good variety of craft beers that they rotate. The food was good, and I felt everything was priced well and reasonable. There is a bowling alley attached which also make its fun to take the family. I took my nieces and nephews and they had a blast. If you're looking to mix it up one night or try something new, it's a nice brewery just 15 minutes south of Grand Rapids.
